Well, the Family Advocacy Program (FAP) understands that life can sometimes be a bit much and having the skills to handle everyday frustrations can certainly come in handy. Is Your Relationship Healthy?  Even the best of relationships experience conflict and disagreements.  However, one of the differences between a healthy relationship and an unhealthy relationship is the way in which conflict is handled between spouses.  Do you feel that your spouse makes all the decisions in the home and that you are never right?  Does your spouse insult you or put you down?  Do you ever fear for the safety of yourself and/or your children?  Patterns of behavior that result in emotional or physical abuse, economic control or isolation are signs of an unhealthy relationship.  The Family Advocacy Program (FAP) offers information, resources and services to assist anyone who may be a victim of domestic violence (read all about resources and reporting information in our Victim Advocacy section below).
